The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) will host World Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week (WAAW) from 18th to 24th November 2024, focusing on the growing global threat posed by superbugs. Under the theme of “Educate. Advocate. Act now.”, the campaign aims to raise awareness about the environmental impact of AMR and call for the actions across sectors to address this crisis.
